We Need Workers in the Vineyard
"At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” - Matthew 9:35-38
When we look at the future of youth ministry at Christ the King there is a deep recognition of the need for more workers in the vineyard to help us to reach more students, to grow them as people and to send them into the world as Jesus calls them. This is why we have expanded our ministry team to offer a variety different opportunities for our adult and student ministers to walk with and help us to make our youth ministry the best it can be. It also provides opportunities for new people to work with us and to see what it is we do.
We want to invite everyone to prayerfully consider if the Lord might be calling them to participate in the mission to "go therefore and make disciples" (Matthew 28:18). Any Adults and Students who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation or will receive the Sacrament this Spring are invited to fill out the questionnaires below. Our youth minister Josh will be in touch to discuss your involvement and to help you discern how you can best use your time, talent and resources.
